The Advantage Assam MoU Exchange Ceremony will take place on March 12 at the Srimanta Sankaradeva International Auditorium in Guwahati, serving as a follow-up to the Advantage Assam 2.0 summit held the previous year. The event is anticipated to attract approximately 800 participants. According to official sources, the ceremony is set to see the exchange of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and Land Allotment Letters amounting to Rs 1,02,945.46 crore. Additionally, investment proposals totaling Rs 10,186.67 crore are under review for official confirmation or documentation. The investment pipeline includes contributions from Central Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), which are valued at Rs 54,669 crore, and projects emanating from various Infrastructure Ministries of the Indian government, such as the Railways, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), and the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), amounting to Rs 63,686.40 crore. In total, proposals worth Rs 2,54,386.85 crore are expected to be evaluated during the event.
