Shahrukh Khan, who has a close friendship with director-choreographer Farah Khan, recently visited his mother’s residence with her family to pay her last respects. Maneka Irani, mother of Farah and filmmaker Sajid Khan, passed away on July 26. She was 79 years old. Many celebrities including Rani Mukherjee, Shilpa Shetty, Fardeen Khan and Salim Khan reached Farah’s residence to pay their last respects to the veteran actress.
On Friday, Shahrukh Khan, his wife Gauri and their daughter Suhana reached Farah’s house. A video of this is being shared widely online. In the video, Shah Rukh Khan can be seen getting out of his car and walking towards the lift of Farah’s residence, followed by his daughter Suhana and wife Gauri, who ran towards the lift. In another set of pictures, Shah Rukh Khan can be seen leaving the house, while Farah Khan accompanies him till the exit.The actor-director duo has worked together in films like Main Hoon Na (2004), Happy New Year (2014), and Om Shanti Om(2007).
T-Series boss Bhushan Kumar, as well as rapper-singer MC Stan also see each other the director’s house in Mumbai. Maneka Irani, who was the sister of Zoya and Farhan Akhtar’s mother Honey Irani, received a special tribute from the Dil Dhadakne Do director. Remembering her aunt, Zoya shared a special post on her Instagram handle and wrote, “Maneka aunty, you shaped my life, I will always be grateful for that.You taught me, you made me laugh, you made me listen to country music and you made me feel like the most unique girl in the world. You will always be respected and never forgotten”.
Farah Khan, who entered the industry as a choreographer, entered the field of direction with the 2004 film ‘Mai Hoon Na’. Farah has directed only four films so far, three of which star Shah Rukh Khan. The 4th one is with Akshay Kumar, titled Tees Maar Khan. She is the daughter of late filmmaker Kamran Khan.
