After the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, actress Rhea Chakraborty went through a tough time. Sushant’s body was recovered from a flat in Bandra on June 14, 2020. There was a lot of uproar over that death. Riya was arrested after drug involvement was revealed in the death. The actress got bail after a month of imprisonment. She was also criticized on social media. A lot of time has passed since then. In the rule of time, the netizens also forgot the old words. Riya also returned to the normal rhythm of life. But since Sushant’s death, she has not worked in any other film.
Riya has recently started a podcast on her YouTube channel. The first episode was with actress Sushmita Sen. This podcast show is called ‘Chapter 2’. At the beginning of the show, Riya said, “Everyone knows the first chapter of my life. Better to say, they think they know it all. I went through a period of mixed feelings. I got to see different sides of myself. Finally, I feel better. But this is like a new birth. And that’s what I want to celebrate on this podcast with people who also have two chapters in their lives.”
Rhea also said, “I think there can be two chapters in life. Can be started again. I want to celebrate this change.” She is away from acting after Sushant’s death. How are you earning money now, said Riya? In her words, “Many people do not understand how I am earning. I am not acting in the film. I’m doing something else. Like I’m earning by giving motivational talks.” It may be noted that Rhea was last seen in the Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Chehre’.
