Amazon India announced the launch of the fourth season of Propel – a global business accelerator for startups in the consumer products space. This one of its kind program has been designed to provide dedicated support to emerging Indian brands and startups reach customers around the world using ecommerce exports. The Propel S4 program will help up to 50 Indian startups launch in international markets and create global brands.
Amazon’s Propel S4 program, which closes on June 14, 2024, offers a chance for startups to pitch their business propositions to leading VC firms and secure funding for expansion. The winners will receive rewards worth over $1.5 million, including AWS Activate credits, six months of free logistics and account management support, and a $100K grant from Amazon. Amazon will also help to connect startups with Indian Revenue-based-financing firms Klub, Velocity, and GetVantage for curated offers. Propel Season 4 (Propel S4) brings together key stakeholders like VC partners, revenue-based financing partners, cross-border logistics & payments players, and Amazon leaders to offer Indian startups guidance and mentorship for global brand creation. Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund, Peak XV Partners, Fireside Ventures, DSG Consumer Partners, Accel, V3 Ventures, and Elevation Capital will be the VC partners for Propel Season 4 in 2024. Previous winners of Propel include Slurrp Farm, Sirona Hygiene and Wellbeing Nutrition from Season 1,Solethreads, Ecoright and GoDesi from Season 2 and Mirana Toys, Avimee Herbal and Perfora from the season 3.
