Assam has been grappling with online trading scam of 2, 200 crore. Earlier, 22 years-old boy was arrested from Dibrugarh, Assam. Assam police has started a crackdown into the scam where 38 more were arrested.
However, few more accused are under police radar, Assamese actress Sumi Borah and her husband. Police are still investigating their current location, no update has been received yet.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma reacting to the incident urged Assam people to be aware of the scam. He also mentioned about the 38 arrested accuse in connection with the scam.
On the other hand, Assam Chief Minister has announced to create 50, 000 more jobs by 2025 in the state, Assam.
