Assam State Election Commission announces dry days for second phase of Lok Sabha Elections

The Assam State Election Commission (SEC) has declared dry days ahead and during the voting process of the second phase of Lok Sabha elections in the state. The dry day period will extend for 48 hours, commencing from April 24th and concluding on April 26th.

During this period, the sale of alcohol will be prohibited in the Lok Sabha constituencies of Darrang-Udalguri, Diphu, Karimganj, Silchar, and Nagaon in Assam, which are slated for voting in the second phase of Lok Sabha elections.

Dry days will be observed in these constituencies from 5 pm on April 24th until the conclusion of polling on April 26th.
