Bajaj Allianz Life reports 26% IRNB growth in Q1FY25, strengthens market presence

Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance has reported a 26% growth in Individual Rated New Business (IRNB) for Q1FY25, reaching ₹1,294 crores compared to ₹1,028 crores in Q1FY24. The company continues to be the fastest-growing private life insurer in India, based on a three-year CAGR for FY24. The growth was driven by strong performances across its distribution channels, with Agency, Institutional Business, and Proprietary Sales Force posting IRNB growth of 15%, 27%, and 75%, respectively.

The company’s commitment to expanding its footprint and enhancing customer accessibility has been pivotal. “With over 545 branches, including a robust presence in Guwahati, and strategic investments across distribution channels, we are reaching more customers effectively,” said Tarun Chugh, MD & CEO, Bajaj Allianz Life.

In Guwahati, the company’s expanding network of agents and digital outreach is fueling significant growth, reflecting the region’s increasing demand for comprehensive life insurance solutions. The firm’s deepened engagement with both urban and rural customers in the Northeast is contributing to its overall positive performance.
