Bajaj Allianz Life reports strong 34% growth in IRNB for Q2FY25

Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance has posted impressive financial results for Q2FY25, achieving a 34% year-on-year growth in Individual Rated New Business (IRNB), which reached INR 1,895 crores, up from INR 1,415 crores in Q2FY24. The company’s Gross Written Premium (GWP) also saw a significant 23% increase, rising from INR 5,338 crores to INR 6,544 crores. Assets Under Management (AUM) grew by 25%, reaching INR 1,23,178 crores as of 30th September 2024, reflecting strong financial health and market confidence.

Bajaj Allianz Life’s market share in the private sector increased to 8.9%, while its overall industry share grew to 6.1%. The growth is attributed to the company’s robust distribution network, which includes over 1.59 lakh agents and 372 institutional partners across India.

The company’s extensive presence, with a strong agent network and digital platforms, has strengthened its position in the Northeast, where awareness of life insurance is on the rise. This strategic focus on expanding reach across urban and rural areas in Assam is driving its growth in the region.
