Britannia NutriChoice taps digital wellness boom with NutriPlus app launch

Britannia NutriChoice, a leading brand in India’s health-focused snacking segment, has launched NutriPlus—a smartphone-based wellness tracking app aimed at democratizing health monitoring across the country. Developed in collaboration with Aktivo Labs, the app is available simply by scanning a NutriChoice biscuit pack, making advanced wellness tracking accessible to consumers without the need for wearables or complex devices.

The evidence-based NutriPlus app has already recorded over 1.5 lakh sign-ins within its first year. It provides users with a single NutriScore by tracking key health metrics such as steps, sleep quality, fibre intake, and hydration. Average NutriScores have increased from 60 to 62 over the year, indicating a steady improvement in users’ lifestyle habits—daily steps rose by 10%, exercise time by 16%, and sleep duration by 22 minutes. In Guwahati, a rising hub for digital adoption, local retailers report increasing interest in NutriChoice products driven by the app’s features. Health-conscious consumers, particularly among the city’s youth, are embracing the app’s tech-enabled, holistic wellness offerings. NutriPlus also includes customized diet charts, enhancing its appeal as a complete, user-friendly wellness companion.
