Byatikram MASDO successfully hosts third edition of Byatikram International Writers Meet 2024 in Guwahati

Byatikram MASDO is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the third edition of the Byatikram International Writers Meet 2024, held from November 22 to 25 in Guwahati. The event brought together a distinguished group of international and Indian literary figures, fostering a dynamic platform for intellectual exchange and cultural dialogue.

The four-day event featured celebrated writers from around the world, including Tendo Taijin (Japan), Alexandra Nicod (Switzerland), MiodragJaksic (Serbia), Jorge Contreras Herrera (Mexico), and others. Esteemed Indian authors like Dr. Reshma Ramesh, Ashok Chakraborty, and Bijay Shankar Sur also participated. The inaugural session, held at Aurus Mall, Dispur, was attended by notable dignitaries, including Dr. Rita Chowdhury and Shankar LallGoenka, who presented special awards to international writers.

In addition to stimulating intellectual discussions, the event showcased local cultural performances and poetry readings. Significant highlights included the launch of seven books by Prof. Jiban Nath and Bijay Shankar Sur at Cotton University. The meet concluded with a grand farewell dinner at Hotel Landmark, leaving all participants enriched and inspired.
