Siliguri, July 15: The Central Colony Durga Puja Committee in Siliguri has started its Durga Puja preparations with ‘Khutti Puja’ celebrations on the auspicious day of Ulta Rath Yatra. Attracting the attention of city dwellers and visitors from outside Siliguri, Central Colony’s Durga Puja is known to be one of the major budget pujas in North Bengal. This year marks the 62nd anniversary of their grand celebration.
All the club members were present to participate in the ‘Khutti Puja’ which marked the beginning of their elaborate preparations for the upcoming festival.
