The fourth Sushasan Saptah (Good Governance Week) will take place from December 19 to 24, 2024, according to the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), Government of India. The government’s emphasis on enhancing governance and empowering rural communities is highlighted by this year’s theme, “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” (Administration Towards the Village). In Dima Hasao and throughout the nation, the Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore 2024 campaign is being carried out in two stages: the planning stage and the execution stage.
Special public grievance redressal camps will be set up during the week-long campaign to give citizens a direct avenue to voice their grievances. To encourage accountability and transparency, the DARPG webpage will highlight accomplishments in addressing public complaints. Additional Deputy Commissioner Sangeeta Devi has been tasked by District Commissioner Simanta Kumar Das to ensure that the campaign is carried out effectively. To improve service delivery and resolve public concerns, the District Commissioner’s office will host a special grievance redressal camp.
A focal point of Good Governance Week is the Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore campaign, which seeks to make development approachable at the local level. Through promoting openness, effectiveness, and the well-being of citizens, the project fortifies the basis of grassroots democracy. The active involvement of citizens, who are positioned as important contributors to the governance process and whose views are heard along the development journey, is essential to the campaign’s success.
