A Japanese language course will be offered by Dibrugarh University starting in the upcoming academic year. The initiative’s potential to give pupils useful skills was highlighted by Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma when he introduced it. Strengthening relations with Japan, which is essential to Assam’s industrial and infrastructure development, is the course’s main goal. For young people in the area, this will offer up new career and educational opportunities. To foster intellectual and cultural exchanges, the Japan Foundation recently organized a Japan Caravan on campus. Japan’s dedication to developing closer connections with India was demonstrated at the occasion. CM Sarma publicly endorsed the effort on social media, describing it as a major step towards expanding Assamese students’ intellectual horizons and opening up worldwide chances.
