GUWAHATI: A two-day visit by a panel from the Election Commission of India (ECI) to assess Assam’s preparedness for the next Lok Sabha elections has begun.
The ECI team is expected to do a thorough review meeting while they are here, talking with authorities, political parties, and other organizations to get important information and viewpoints for the election process.
The topic of conversation with the officials will be security measures, as the team will be consulting in-depth with the state police to guarantee a safe and secure voting environment.
