Federal Bank has announced the launch of its eighth Federal Skill Academy, located at the Don Bosco Institute (DBI) in Joypur, Kharghuli, Guwahati. This initiative underscores Federal Bank’s commitment to its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals by enhancing skill development and vocational training for economically disadvantaged youth in Northeast India.
The inauguration ceremony, held on [Date], was led by Shyam Srinivasan, MD & CEO of Federal Bank, who highlighted the academy’s role in advancing local employment opportunities. The event was marked by the Presidential Address from Venkatraman Venkateswaran, Group President & CFO of Federal Bank, and a blessing from His Excellency Archbishop John Moolachira of the Archdiocese of Guwahati. Rev. Fr. Cleetus Sebastian, Executive Director of DBI, also participated in the event, alongside other key dignitaries including Sabu R S, SVP & Zonal Head of Kolkata Zone, and Shaji K V, VP & Head of CSR.
