Godrej Agrovet Limited’s Oil Palm Plantation business has unveiled its pioneering Samadhan Centre in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, signaling a transformative initiative for oil palm farmers. This one-stop solution hub aims to empower farmers with comprehensive support, including knowledge, tools, services, and solutions tailored to enhance productivity and yield.
The inauguration ceremony, attended by Dr. T.R.B. Rajaa, Hon’ble Minister of Industries, Investment Promotion & Commerce Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, Sougata Niyogi, CEO of Oil Palm Business at Godrej Agrovet Limited, and Rakesh Swami, Group President Corporate Affairs, Godrej Industries Group, highlighted the strategic partnership’s potential to drive agricultural growth in Tamil Nadu’s Delta region. Godrej Agrovet aims to expand oil palm plantations by an additional 60,000 hectares by 2027, bolstered by the Samadhan Centre network, which provides specialized guidance and leverages advanced agricultural techniques.
