A recent survey by Goodknight, a flagship brand of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL), has revealed that 81% of Indians believe mosquito-borne diseases like malaria and dengue are not just monsoon threats but pose a year-round risk. The survey, titled “One Mosquito, Countless Threats,” conducted by YouGov, underscores the rising awareness across India, with the highest concern in East India (86%), followed by the West (81%), and North & South regions (80%).
With over 94,000 dengue cases reported last year, the demand for effective mosquito repellents is on the rise. GCPL has responded with its innovative Goodknight Flash liquid vapouriser, featuring the newly developed Renofluthrin molecule, offering 2X more effectiveness against mosquitoes compared to existing products.
In Guwahati, the persistent threat of mosquito-borne diseases has driven demand for reliable protection solutions. Local retailers report a surge in sales of advanced repellents, with Goodknight’s products leading the market. The growing consumer awareness is transforming Guwahati into a key market for GCPL’s mosquito control solutions, highlighting the city’s focus on year-round health protection.
