In a strategic move to enhance economic opportunities, the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), guided by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, has launched a range of skill development initiatives in Ranchi.
The programs, introduced by Shri Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State (I/C), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and Shri Sanjay Seth, Minister of State, Ministry of Defence, focus on upskilling women in millet food processing, bamboo handicraft training for tribal women, and recognition of prior learning (RPL) for female masons. The new Kaushal Rath mobile training unit will further extend these opportunities with practical, hands-on education.
In the Guwahati market, these initiatives highlight a growing trend towards integrating traditional skills with modern business practices. Entrepreneurs and artisans in Guwahati are expected to benefit from the enhanced skill sets and entrepreneurial approaches being developed, which could bolster local markets and stimulate economic growth in the region.
