JSW MG Motor India has launched a series of industry-first electric vehicle (EV) innovations at the DriEV.Bharat event, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The company unveiled four key initiatives aimed at revolutionizing the EV sector and infrastructure.
Leading the charge is eHUB by MG, the industry’s first and largest OEM-developed EV charging platform. This platform integrates a wide network of charging providers, simplifying the process of finding, reserving, and paying for EV charges. Another notable launch is Project REVIVE, a partnership with TERI, Lohum, and BatX, which focuses on repurposing EV batteries for use in renewable energy storage, promoting sustainability and a circular economy.
MG Motor also introduced EVPEDIA, India’s first dedicated EV education platform, designed to offer comprehensive information on EV technology, costs, and maintenance, supporting informed consumer decisions. Additionally, the MG-Jio Innovative Connectivity Platform (MG-Jio ICP) was announced, featuring in-car gaming, learning, and entertainment technologies, and will be standard in future MG models. Gaurav Gupta, Chief Growth Officer at JSW MG Motor India, highlighted the company’s commitment to advancing EV technology and enhancing user experience. “Our innovations reflect our dedication to accelerating EV adoption and building a robust, sustainable EV ecosystem,” he said.
