The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), in partnership with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), will host the Kaushal Mahotsav on September 24, with over 50 companies offering 20,000 job opportunities across industries like electronics, automotive, IT, and hospitality.
The event, aimed at empowering local youth with skills and employment, has already seen 13,000 candidates register. Employers from regions such as Noida, Haridwar, and Gurgaon will participate, with job roles ranging from Assembly Line Operators to Business Development Executives. Offer letters will be issued to successful candidates on the event day.
Guwahati has shown a strong demand for skilled talent in sectors like financial services and IT, and similar events have helped strengthen its local job ecosystem. With growing industrial ties between Guwahati and the NCR region, the northeastern market’s role in recruitment is becoming pivotal.
