Kotak Mahindra Bank (KMBL) has unveiled the 2nd edition of ‘Sehat Ka Safar’, a Kotak Karma initiative, dedicated to prioritizing the physical well-being of truck drivers nationwide. Kotak is offering free health check-up camps to around 3,000 truck drivers across India through ‘Sehat Ka Safar’, providing medical consultations and tests to address their health and wellness needs.
The program will offer various health services including eyecheck-ups, posture evaluations, dental checks for oral cancer screenings, and an overall health check covering blood pressure and blood sugar. Alongside providing medications at no cost,Kotak is conducting awareness sessions on government welfare schemes aimed at enhancing the well-being of the drivers. Amit Mohan, President – Logistics & Infrastructure at Kotak Mahindra Bank, said, “Building on the success of previous camps, we are optimistic that ‘Sehat Ka Safar’ will touch even more lives.”
30 health camps will be organized in Transport Hubs frequented by truck drivers, each staffed by six doctors and nursing staff from Doctors4You. ‘Sehat Ka Safar’ began in the year 2023.In its 1st edition, Kotak had organized 30‘Sehat Ka Safar’ medical camps which benefited close to 3,000 truck drivers, nationwide.
