At the 14th Rozgar Mela, which was held at the NEIGRHMS auditorium in Shillong, 124 candidates received their appointment letters, marking a major step toward increasing employment prospects in Meghalaya. The event was a significant milestone in the government’s attempts to empower young people and was a part of a nationwide campaign that was staged concurrently in 45 sites. The 67th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organized the event, which was presided over by Union Minister of State for Rural Development Kamlesh Paswan.
In his speech, the minister welcomed the recently chosen candidates and underlined the government’s emphasis on young mobilization for the advancement of the country. “I would like to extend my congratulations to the 124 people who were hired for employment in different areas. “Our youth will be effectively mobilized to contribute to the nation in the future, as envisioned by Prime Minister Modi,” Paswan stated. “Despite the obstacles, the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) is making progress in the Northeast, and we are committed to overcoming them,” he continued.
The CRPF, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Ministry of Health, Indian Railways, Border Security Force (BSF), Postal Department, and Ministry of Finance are among the government agencies where the appointees will be employed. The event, which saw the delivery of 71,556 employment letters to new recruits nationally, was virtually opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This program demonstrates the government’s dedication to creating jobs and meeting the goals of the country’s young people.
