Indian markets are bracing for a busy earnings day on February 6, with as many as 199 companies, including Tata Steel, Siemens, Bosch, Shree Cement, MRF and Sun TV Network, set to announce their Q3FY26 results. Other key names on the list include BEML, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals, Kalyan Jewelers, Shipping Corporation of India, Whirlpool of India and Lemon Tree Hotels.
Earnings will remain in sharp focus after Bharti Airtel reported a 55% year-on-year fall in net profit to ₹6,630 crore for the October–December quarter, hit by the impact of new Laboure codes and a high base effect. The telecom major said the Laboure codes alone had a ₹257 crore impact on its quarterly numbers.
Equity markets are expected to open cautiously, tracking weak global cues and ahead of the RBI’s monetary policy decision. GIFT Nifty was down 0.33% early Friday. While the repo rate is expected to remain unchanged, investors are likely to stay selective, reacting stock-by-stock to earnings outcomes amid global volatility.
