Siliguri, July 06: A mega blood donation camp was organized in the city center of Siliguri under the leadership of Lions Club Siliguri Unity Wings in collaboration with Lions Club of Uttarayan Centennial and Uttarayan Queens.
This camp marks the silver jubilee year celebrations, during which 25 blood donation camps have been organized over two days in Siliguri and surrounding areas by various branches of the Lions Club. Despite the rain, many people came forward to donate blood.
On this occasion, Jaya Periwal highlighted the importance of the Silver Jubilee year and the organization of 25 blood donation camps within two days. He emphasized that this initiative can reduce blood shortage to a great extent and encouraged everyone to participate in blood donation.
