MG Motor India has launched the Windsor EV, which racked up an astonishing 15,176 bookings within 24 hours of its debut on October 3, 2024. This remarkable achievement positions the Windsor as the first passenger EV in India to achieve such a feat, showcasing the shifting landscape of automotive preferences towards electric mobility.
The Windsor EV, touted as India’s first Intelligent CUV, combines the comfort of a sedan with the versatility of an SUV. Starting at a competitive price of INR 9.99 lakh, plus INR 3.5 per kilometer under the Battery as a Service (BaaS) program, it boasts a 38 kWh Li-ion battery that delivers 136 PS power and an impressive ARAI-certified range of 332 kilometers. Deliveries are set to commence on October 12, 2024.
