Aligning with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi of transitioning India into a Global Skill Capital, National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) inaugurates the Skill India Centre in Bhadrak, Odisha. It envisions to equip youth with demand-driven skills, expedite career opportunities, and bolster local economy. The center will provide students with comprehensive training that combines academic knowledge with practical experience in various job roles, focusing on honing skills, networking, and emerging technologies to promote holistic growth.
The center in Odisha aims to bridge the gap between industry and academia by providing industry-relevant skills to the youth, fostering futuristic skills, enhancing employability opportunities, and preserving traditional crafts’ cultural heritage in local settings. While inaugurating the Skill India Centre today in Bhadrak, Shri Suraj Suryabanshi, Hon’ble Member of Legislative Assembly, Dhamnagar, Odisha said, “The inauguration of the Skill India Centre presents a timely opportunity, offering diverse courses from marketing to language training, aiming to empower the youth and address employment challenges effectively in Bhadrak.”
The center, equipped with advanced infrastructure and modern facilities, will serve as a knowledge hub for Yuva Peedhi, enabling the acquisition of skills for success in various fields, shaping the future of youth and opening opportunities for placement in domestic and global markets.
