Naxalbari, June 27: In a commendable initiative, Naxalbari Sarada Vidyamandir in joint efforts with Marwari Yuva Manch successfully organized a blood donation camp on Thursday with the target of collecting 200 units of blood.
According to reports, active blood donors have been voluntarily contributing to this noble cause since morning. Sujit Das, Head Teacher, Naxalbari Sarada Vidyamandir expressed his gratitude to all the participants and emphasized that the annual blood donation camp was organized in accordance with the principle of ‘Sebai Param Dharma, Raktdan Jeevan Daan’.
All the collected blood units will be taken to Rotary Blood Bank. Meanwhile, the former vice-president of Marwari Yuva Manch announced plans for a mega blood donation camp in Siliguri and surrounding areas on June 29.
