Nissan announces major support initiative for flood-affected vehicle owners across India

In response to the severe flooding impacting various regions of India, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has rolled out a comprehensive support initiative for owners of flood-affected vehicles. The automaker has set up a dedicated helpdesk to assist customers, offering free Roadside Assistance (RSA) services, including vehicle towing to authorized Nissan service workshops. Additionally, Nissan is waiving insurance claim process fees of up to INR 1000 for affected vehicles. These support measures will be in effect until 30th September 2024.

Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, stated, “We recognize the difficulties our customers face due to the ongoing floods. Our top priority is their safety and satisfaction. By extending our support until the end of September, we aim to provide essential relief and expedite vehicle repairs.”

In Guwahati, the flood crisis has heightened demand for vehicle repair services, and Nissan’s assistance is seen as a crucial support for local residents. The special offers, including 10% discounts on engine oil and floor carpet replacements, along with free vehicle health check-ups, are expected to provide significant relief to the community.
