Nissan Tekton C-SUV set to redefine style and performance for Indian drivers

Nissan Motor India has unveiled the All-New Tekton, its latest C-SUV designed to appeal to modern Indian consumers seeking a blend of style, performance, and advanced technology. Inspired by the legendary Nissan Patrol, the Tekton features bold design elements, premium interiors, and innovative engineering. The name “Tekton,” meaning “craftsman” or “architect” in Greek, reflects Nissan’s commitment to precision and quality.

The Tekton is the second product under Nissan’s “One Car, One World” strategy, manufactured in partnership with Renault at the Chennai plant for domestic sales and select exports. Key design highlights include a muscular side profile, sculpted bonnet, signature C-shaped headlamps, rear illuminated lightbar, and subtle mountain-inspired accents on the front doors, creating a commanding road presence. Nissan executives describe the model as a perfect balance of style, robustness, and modern technology for today’s drivers.

Early inquiries suggest promising uptake, reflecting the growing demand for mid-size SUVs in the Arunachal Pradesh capital. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan India, stated, “The All-New Tekton is at the core of Nissan’s growth strategy, delivering design, innovation, and performance tailored to Indian consumers.”
