The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), in partnership with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), has launched the ‘Kaushal Mahotsav: Job Readiness Program’ in Bijnor. This initiative, aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, aims to transform Bijnor into a skilled workforce hub.
Guided by Minister Shri Jayant Chaudhary, the program targets the district’s youth, offering them essential skills and job opportunities. Key figures at the launch included MP Shri Chandan Singh Chauhan and NSDC COO Shri Ved Mani Tiwari.Chauhan stated the initiative’s significance, stating, “Kaushal Mahotsav is a testament to Bijnor’s potential, offering our youth the chance to gain certifications and connect with employers.”
The program will run through August, with registrations open until August 25. It features a 5-day training on soft and domain-specific skills across 20 centers in Bijnor. The outreach includes employers from key sectors such as Electronics, Automotive, and IT from regions like Noida and Gurgaon.The event will culminate in September with an offer letter distribution ceremony, marking a significant step toward enhancing the employability of Bijnor’s youth.
