NSDC International to train 1 lakh caregivers, taps global healthcare demand

NSDC International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), is set to train one lakh caregivers to meet the surging global demand for skilled healthcare professionals. With thousands of candidates already placed in countries like Germany, Japan, the UK, and Israel, the initiative is bridging the global caregiving skill gap by offering specialised training in healthcare, soft skills, and languages such as English, German, and Japanese. Backed by strategic partnerships with countries including the USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore, and GCC nations, NSDC International is responding to critical healthcare staff shortages. Recent recruitment by leading Japanese and German companies at competitive salaries highlights the training quality. Additionally, the organisation is working with international institutions like the University of Cambridge and Cambridge Boxhill to enhance certification standards.

Guwahati is witnessing a surge in interest from youth eager to explore global healthcare careers. Local skill centres, aligned with NSDC International’s standards, are preparing aspirants with internationally relevant competencies, boosting regional employment potential.
