National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Institute of Technology (IIT),Guwahati and Acciojob to launch a first of its kind microcredit cybersecurity and data analytics program to build top-tier skilled professionals in India.
It provides Yuva Peedhi a convenient access to top-tier education from prestigious institutions like IIT Guwahati, accelerating transformative and localized impact on society. The MoUs were exchanged between Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, NSDC and MD, NSDC International and Yashwardhan Burad, CEO, Acciojob. Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, NSDC and MD, NSDC International said, “The pioneering initiative will play a significant role in leveraging the skills of the youth to protect digital assets and safeguard sensitive information and lays the groundwork for a secure and resilient digital future for all.”
The partnership between private and public organizations offers students practical cybersecurity knowledge, preparing them for the Future of Work. It helps identify, prevent, and mitigate cyber threats effectively, meeting the growing demand for skilled professionals. Students can transfer credits to degree programs in line with NEP 2020, empowering them to pursue a thriving career in the industry.
