Patel Engineering Ltd. is honored to partner with India’s Sela Pass Tunnel Project

A prominent provider of integrated infrastructure and construction services in India, as it enters its 75th year, is proud to announce the successful inauguration of the Sela Tunnel Project in Arunachal Pradesh, officiated by Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi. This milestone event marks a significant leap in India’s strategic infrastructure development, enhancing all-weather connectivity and facilitating rapid troop mobility in the region.

The Sela Tunnel, valued at Rs. 650 crores, is a significant project in India’s border security and regional economic growth. Constructed by Patel Engineering under Project VARTAK of the Border Roads Organizations (BRO), it includes a main tunnel T1 and an escape tunnel.

The tunnel spans 1003.34m and 1594.38m, with an 8.7 km road. Patel Engineering’s expertise in managing large-scale projects and resilience make it a preferred partner for critical global projects. The tunnel project showcases India’s commitment to border security and economic growth.
