A petrol pump worker near Guwahati’s Jyotikuchi neighbourhood was robbed of 4 lakh by criminals on Monday morning.Speaking to media persons, an official from the Fatasil Ambari police station confirmed the incident, stating, “A complaint has been filed, and further investigation is on.”
According to preliminary reports, the employee was carrying the cash to deposit it when the assailants targeted him. The exact sequence of events and the number of individuals involved in the crime remain unclear.The police are working to gather more details and are analysing CCTV footage from the vicinity to identify the culprits.
