JSW Group Chairman Sajjan Jindal has been honored with the ‘Business Leader of the Decade’ award at the 15th AIMA Managing India Awards, recognizing his strategic leadership in transforming JSW Group into a global conglomerate.
The award was presented at a grand ceremony attended by Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan as the Chief Guest and Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada as the Guest of Honour. Yezdi Nagporewalla, CEO of KPMG India, delivered the award citation.
Under Jindal’s leadership, JSW Group has expanded significantly, doubling its revenues to $24 billion and nearly tripling its steel production capacity to 39 million tonnes. The company has strengthened its foothold in renewable energy, cement, and infrastructure, emerging as the second-largest private player in India’s ports sector. JSW has also entered future-focused sectors like electric vehicles and military drones through global partnerships.
