The marathon promoted eco-friendly practices with organic T-shirts, plantable BIBs, and reusable cloth bags, ensuring a zero-waste experience, while waste management partner Skrap managed recycling efforts. Participants competed in three categories: 5K, 10K, and the AIMS-certified 21K half marathon, attracting a diverse group from seasoned runners to first-timers. The event successfully showcased Guwahati’s commitment to sustainability and community involvement, as it continues its tour across 17 cities, inspiring citizens toward a cleaner future.
