Škoda Auto India has announced a significant update to its pricing strategy for the Kushaq and Slavia models, marking a strategic shift aimed at bolstering accessibility and affordability in the competitive Indian automotive market. The refreshed lineup, now starting at an enticing ₹10.69 lakh, reflects Škoda’s commitment to enhancing value for customers.
The models have been reorganized into three main variants – Classic, Signature, and Prestige – alongside new additions like the Onyx and Monte Carlo, catering to diverse customer preferences. This pricing revision extends across all engine and transmission options, offering potential savings of up to 10%, depending on the chosen configuration. Petr Janeba, Brand Director at Škoda Auto India, underscored the brand’s dedication to safety and quality, emphasizing that both the Kushaq and Slavia boast a comprehensive suite of safety features, including standard six airbags and a full 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP.
Looking ahead, Škoda Auto India plans to expand its market footprint with the imminent launch of an all-new compact SUV in early 2025. This strategic move aligns with the company’s broader vision outlined in the Next Level – Škoda Strategy 2030, aiming to fortify its presence in key growth markets such as India while embracing sustainable automotive solutions.
