Sony India rolls out BRAVIA 8 II QD-OLED TVs, targets premium market with cinematic edge

Sony India has introduced its new BRAVIA 8 II QD-OLED television series, aiming to redefine premium home entertainment with state-of-the-art display and sound technologies. Available in 65-inch (₹3,41,990) and 55-inch (₹2,46,990) models, the TVs feature the advanced XR Processor™ with AI, delivering precise visuals and Acoustic Surface Audio+ for sound that emanates directly from the screen.

The BRAVIA 8 II boasts QD-OLED panels offering perfect blacks, XR Contrast Booster for dynamic brightness, and XR Triluminos Max for over a billion vibrant colours. Studio Calibrated Modes, including Prime Video and Netflix Adaptive modes, ensure content is displayed just as creators intended. Gaming is a major focus, with 4K/120fps, VRR, and ALLM for smooth, responsive gameplay.

The TVs also integrate SONY PICTURES CORE, offering 4K HDR and IMAX enhanced movies, and come with a slim One Slate design and an eco-conscious remote. Designed under Sony’s “Road to Zero” sustainability plan, the series uses recycled materials and energy-efficient features. In Guwahati, the BRAVIA 8 II has drawn strong early interest among high-income households and tech-savvy buyers. Retailers expect a boost in premium segment sales, driven by rising demand for luxury viewing experiences.
