Tata Motors Group has reported a robust performance in the first quarter of FY25, with global wholesales reaching 3,29,847 vehicles, marking a 2% increase from the same period last year. During Q1 FY25, Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range saw significant growth, with wholesales totaling 93,410 units, up by 6% year-on-year.
However, wholesales of Tata Motors passenger vehicles, including electric variants, slightly dipped to 138,682 units, down 1% compared to Q1 FY24. Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), excluding volumes from the China joint venture (CJLR), reported robust performance with 97,755 vehicles sold, a 5% increase year-over-year. Jaguar contributed 8,227 vehicles, while Land Rover led with 89,528 vehicles sold during the quarter.
In Guwahati, a pivotal market for Tata Motors, the company’s diverse portfolio of commercial and passenger vehicles continues to resonate strongly with local consumers.
