In a celebration brimming with pride and encouragement, Bhogdabari Primary School, a venerable institution established during the British era in 1942, honored its bright scholars who recently excelled in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary (HS) Examinations. Led by the dedicated headmaster, Swadhin Boro, along with a committed cadre of teachers and staff, the school stands as a beacon of relentless support for its students’ advancement.
With a steadfast commitment to nurturing a culture of learning and literacy, Headmaster Swadhin Boro has championed such celebratory initiatives annually. This year, the school bestowed recognition upon 21 diligent students who demonstrated excellence in the HSLC and HS examinations.
The felicitation ceremony, orchestrated by the school governing committee, unfolded amidst jubilation within the school premises. Nestled in the verdant expanse of Bhogdabari village, under the educational canopy of Kamrup District Education Sector, Bhogdabari Primary School caters to the educational needs of the Boro tribal community, comprising around 700 inhabitants. Among them, 70 eager minds find their educational anchor in this esteemed institution.
During the ceremony, Professor Dr. Dhiraj Kumar Das, Head of the Mathematics Department at Jawaharlal Nehru College in Boko, imparted invaluable wisdom to the aspiring scholars. Emphasizing the transformative power of education, he urged the students to ascend the ladder of knowledge, thereby illuminating paths for future generations.
Adding her voice to the chorus of guidance, CRC of the Boko block education sector, Papori Sharma, urged the students to imbibe knowledge earnestly, enriching their lives with purpose and meaning.
