Leading telecom operator Vi has revamped its International Roaming (IR) postpaid plans just in time for the summer holiday travel rush, offering customers double data, unlimited free incoming calls, and baggage protection across over 145 countries. The enhanced packs, starting at Rs 649, are designed to meet growing demand as India saw an 11.4% rise in international passengers between January and November 2024, according to the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
Vi’s updated IR plans provide significant value for travelers with data doubled across all packs — from 1GB on the one-day pack to 30GB on the 30-day pack — along with free incoming calls and SMS allowances. Customers can activate packs up to 60 days in advance via the Vi app or website and access 24×7 international roaming support. Additionally, a partnership with Blue Ribbon Bags offers baggage protection worth up to Rs 19,800 per delayed or lost bag for a nominal Rs 99 charge, ensuring a secure travel experience.
